Gordon Bell
Jul 2, 2026
Video transcript: So a few months ago, our little website was ticking along. We'd get a sale once a week, once every couple of weeks. It really wasn't doing much, honestly. We were making more money out of Etsy than we were out of our actual website, which sucked. But it did what it did and we weren't in any great hurry to make anything bigger. It wasn't our primary business, it wasn't our primary thing we were looking after. My name's Gordon, I run backroom gear with my partner. About six months ago, we were basically struggling to keep our website alive. We didn't mind, but we were getting a bit disheartened because it wasn't doing what it was meant to do. I'd seen Paul around the Internet for ages. If you're in these E comm circles, you've probably seen him around, you've probably seen his ad a thousand times. You go, yeah, I see this guy, I don't know who he is, but I keep seeing him. But I've seen him around and I thought I should jump on one of his calls. But they're always on a Wednesday, Wednesdays around 4 o', clock, 5 o' clock in the afternoon, I'm driving, I don't have time to stop and pull over and sit and watch a call. It just wasn't my, wasn't able to happen. So one for one Wednesday afternoon, I just happened to be home, which was very rare, and I thought, what about to lose? So I registered and I jumped on the call. It was pretty cool. Paul and Chris actually took the time to look at my website and look, it's, it's, it's a very niche, very, very, very, very niche website. So, you know, I was surprised they actually took the time to look at it and were quite happy with what, what they said. They actually gave me some practical advice straight away what we should do a couple of little pinpoint pinpoints of what we could actually do straight away to help improve the conversion. We weren't converting, basically, so anything was going to help. After the call, I thought about and thought about it and I went and spoke to Darren, my partner. We went, look, we need to do something. We want this website to actually make some money. We need to actually do something. And a lot of humming and hiring, a lot of humming and hiring and we decided, well, why not? We invested and honestly, it was the biggest investment to date that we've invested in our business and it's paid off. I, I can't say anything other than it's paid off. It has been fantastic. So we installed the converter kit, we paid our $2,000 for our converter kit. We paid, we installed, we got the converter installed. We ju, we were part of one of the cycles where we got weekly calls with Chris to actually go through how to actually build the site and make it better and better and better and better. And it was all good. We launched probably just at the end of the six weeks, probably about seven week mark and that was probably September, October last year to that date we'd had about 30 orders on our website in four years and since then to now, which is in early February, we've had over 220 orders. 170 of those came from after we launched with the converter kit. So it's yes, we had Black Friday, yes, we had Boxing Day sales, yes, we had the Christmas rush, but we had those three years ago over the last four years as well and we got nothing. So it was amazing how much we grew so quickly. The community is fantastic. We do our best to jump on as many calls as we can. We're busy. We, we don't just run our business, we run four other websites for our, for our clients. So we're busy all the time but we still take the time to try and jump on the calls. We try and contribute where we can, but we also try and learn where we can as well. So we'd spend that, yeah, we spend that hour or so every day to actually try and improve ourselves, help improve the community and give back as much as we've taken as we take. So that side of it is fantast but then you get the slack group. Like I've never used like before I had no idea what it was but I sort of knew. I thought I'd look at it and probably won't do much but it's great to have that community that's there that knows, that knows what we do. Like we're all in the same boat. We all, we all, we all run a website whether it's a, you know, whether you're making a thousand dollars a month or a hundred thousand dollars a month or a million dollars a month. We're all running a website or websites and we all have the same problems. They just vary in sizes but we all have the same problems. That's good to be able to go, I don't know how to do something. You chuck in the select group. There's no judgment and somebody gets back to you pretty quickly. It's often Paul, it's often Chris it's often Locky or Philip or Mike or one of the, one of the coaching, one of the coaching crew. If it's not one of those, it's just someone in the community. So you know, it's great just to have that, have that community there to help you when you need something, help when you. And it's also great to be able to give back when somebody asks that question and goes, oh, I don't know how to, I don't know how to do that. Let's just talk you through it. And when we do that is great. We've learned so much over the last six months. So we've actually got to the point where we've actually gone and bought, purchased two more converter kits. These converter kits were for our clients websites. We've helped them grow their businesses tenfold over the last six months and it's been fantastic. It's been fantastic for them, which has been fantastic for us. Means we've still a job to do and you know, I owe all of this back to Paul, Chris and the rest of the coaching team. If you're on the fence about whether you should take the plunge and purchase a converter kit or join the community, just do it. I cannot thank the guys enough. They have been fantastic. It's been great to be part of the community and I'm just looking forward to the next 12 months of watching my website grow, watching other people in the community's websites grow and watching my, my clients websites grow. It's been fantastic. So thank you guys. Thank you so much and yeah, thank you.
Jade
Video transcript: Hi, I'm Jade and I'm the founder of Blossom pelvic Health. In July 2024, I was listening to a podcast where they were talking about E commerce. And honestly, I did not even know what they meant. I literally googled, what is E commerce? That is how I found Shopify. Then I wondered if anyone in Australia actually used Shopify, which led me to the Shopify Australia Facebook group. The first thing I saw there were the free website audits that Paul and the team run every Wednesday night. And honestly, my mind was blown. I'd never considered all of the different components that make up a successful ecommerce website. I did not know anything about conversion rate, customer journey, product pages, trust, positioning, or all the small details that make someone feel confident enough to buy. But the way that Paul explained it just clicked. I watched those audits for a couple of weeks until I started seeing the patterns not only in what Paul was teaching, but in my own online shopping as well. I started noticing what made a website feel trustworthy, what made me hesitate, what made something easy to buy from, what made the store feel clear, confusing or credible. So I decided to see what Shopify actually was. I came across a deal that was $3 for three months. And with absolutely no intention of ever going live, I decided to have a crack and build a store like the ones that Paul was teaching about. My background is pelvic health physiotherapy. So I built my hypothetical store for my patients. Somewhere safe, medically accurate and non intimidating. Somewhere with the noise stripped away and just the quality products I recommend every day. At the end of my Shopify trial, I still had not decided if I was actually going to make the store live. At that time, Chris McLean, who's the head of brand at the ecommerce Circle, was offering free header audits. So I made the store live and asked for one. Chris was incredibly generous with both his time and his feedback. And what really stuck with me was him saying, your store looks really good. You obviously know what you're doing. And I remember thinking, well, if Chris thinks it looks okay, maybe I should just keep it live and I'll see what happens. In month one, we did $1,000 in revenue, and I have no idea where those sales came from. By month five, I hit my first $10,000 month. But at that point, I was spending $30 a day on Google Ads with absolutely no idea what I was doing. No real campaign structure, no understanding of what a good result looked like versus a bad result, no proper strategy behind it. I tried to scale. But honestly, I may as well have just been putting my money in the pokies. For the next few months, I just sat around the $10,000 a month mark. I knew the business had potential, but I did not have the skill set to move it forward. I didn't have the budget to hand it over to a big agency, but I also did not really want to. The joy in building the website had come from learning something completely new, implementing it and then seeing the result. But to be completely honest, there's only so much you can learn from watching free website audits on Facebook. At some point, I needed more structure, more guidance and a deeper understanding of what I was actually doing. So in April 2025, I joined the E Commerce Circle and it has honestly been the single biggest thing that has moved the needle for my store. I'm a busy mum. I have three kids aged 2, 4 and 6 and I still work clinically as a physiotherapist. So I'm really time poor and I never make it to the live calls. But that has not mattered. My routine is really simple. Every night I put my 2 year old to bed and when I do, I listen to a recording. And then over the next couple of days, usually in the evenings when the kids are asleep, I implement what I've learnt. I do not do everything. I pick one or two things to focus on at a time and I do those properly. And over time, that has completely changed the way I understand business. I now understand how all the pieces fit together so much better. SEO, CRO, brand digital marketing strategy and how it all connects. I know what to prioritise. I know what my next move is. And I'm not just guessing anymore. One of the best parts of the E Commerce Circle is the access to the coaches and the experts. They are all specialists in their different fields and they know what is working right now. But they do not just tell you what to do. They give you the tools and the knowledge to understand why it matters, so you can implement it yourself and make better decisions in your own business. For someone like me who values learning and does not have a big team behind me, that has been incredibly valuable. And then there is the community. There are founders in there at every stage. Some are just starting out and some already have incredibly successful brands. I thought that might feel intimidating, but it has been the opposite. It is inspiring. You see other founders kicking goals every day, asking great questions and being generous with what they know and it makes you think if they can do it, maybe I can too. I've learnt so much from the questions that other people ask. Sometimes someone further ahead asks something I would not have even known to ask yet, and it opens up a whole new layer of possibilities. And sometimes someone a little behind me asks a question and I can reflect on how I approach something, see how I could have done it better, and go back and improve it. For me, the greatest gift has been the knowledge. Learning the foundations, learning how to implement, learning how to stop guessing and actually understand what I'm doing. I am so grateful to Paul, Chris and the entire team. They're so generous with their knowledge and without them, I would not have a store at all, let alone one that is making real sales and has the potential to help provide for my family. I value my time with my kids above anything and the E Commerce circle fits around that. It lets me learn in the pockets of time I have. Pick a couple of things to focus on, work on them properly, knock them out, and then move on to the next thing. So if you know your business has potential, but you feel like you're flying blind, I really understand that feeling. I've been there. Having the right guidance, the right knowledge and the right people around you changes everything. It absolutely has for me.

Video transcript: Hi, I'm Leah, I'm the founder of Sunza Collective and we're a lifestyle brand based here on the Sunshine coast and we make an everyday cooler backpack that actually looks good and that can use all year round for any occasion. So we launched Sunza in early March and before that we'd been with another coaching group for a fair while. We'd actually put a lot into it but when it came to our launch the I guess when we really needed them, they just weren't there and we walked away feeling lost and honestly really let down when it mattered the most. So I figured that I would just sort it out myself and I jumped into the Shopify Australia Facebook group looking for help and I kept seeing Paul pop up and I guess there was just something about him and I wanted to know more. So I jumped on one of their Wednesday calls and honestly I got so much out of that one call that we joined the E commerce circle pretty much straight away. And yeah, it's been brilliant. Now we get on all the daily calls and we always walk away with something that we can actually implement into the business. We've also moved over to their Shopify converter kit for our website and I think one of the biggest game changers for us was their advice and around recording a video sales letter for our website. And so we did that. We've been running it as an ad and that video is still our best converting ad. Like to this day in terms of our business, the numbers have been mad. We went from one order in March to 24 in April. Revenues up like 21 times from where we started. And last week was our biggest week ever, which is so exciting. And it's not just Paul that's the thing, it's the whole team and it's everyone else in there too. They're all having a go and they all get being an E commerce business owner and it's a fraction of what we were paying before, like under $100 a month. It's a no brainer really. So honestly, if you're doing E commerce and you're not in the E commerce circle, you are missing out. So Paul, to you and Chris and the whole team as well as the wonderful community that you've built, thank you. Truly you have changed everything for us and we are so grateful. Thanks.

Video transcript: Hi, my name is Megs from Blooming Healthy Studio. Just a short testimonial and huge thank you to E Commerce Circle. I have only been in the group for say three or four weeks and it has been a game changer. I've actually tried a few different sort of online things to actually help me boost my Internet sales, but I just really felt that I was just a number and very much got lost and wasn't seeing many results. But due to the way that these guys actually run the incredible E Commerce Circle, had all the support that I actually need. Any questions to be asked and I've probably accomplished more in the last couple of weeks than I have in a very, very long time with my online presence. I've actually not only seen the results from setting my new template website live, I actually have a feeling that this is going to be a game changer for my business. So huge thanks to Paul and the team. If you are sort of thinking about joining, don't sit on it, just do it, take action. And if I can actually make all these things happen, you can too highly recommend it. And again, I am so excited because there will be more results from me. For the first time I actually feel that this is not a waste of money. You don't feel like a number. You're actually part of an incredible community. So thanks guys.

Martina Baroncelli
Founder/Designer
Video transcript: Hi, I own a Shopify store and I just want to share my experience with the insightful community. It's been a real game changer for me. So I run a Shopify brand and like most founders, I do everything and so, you know, technical stuff, improve conversion work on the product page, UX marketing, email. What I love about the membership is it covers it all. It's not just how to build a store and that's it, it's actually how to grow one. They have daily group calls which are probably the biggest value for me. And if you get stuck on something, whether it's fixing layout, improving product page and just understanding why something isn't working, isn't converting, it's a sanity check sort of point for me. You can get the help of all the other people there as well. The team is amazing. They don't just give quick surface level advice, but they actually care. They look at your shop seriously and just to explain what to change and talk through strategy, branding, everything from the ground up. It feels like having an expert team on your side without needing to employ five different consultants. It's great to be around the other founders that are building businesses that are much bigger than mine and you learn so much, even just listening to people's questions and how they overcome their challenges. For me, it's been life changing for my brand. You know, sometimes I get stuck for weeks and trying to sort things out and making decisions. It's helped me improve the store. So yeah, if you're serious about growing your Shopify or building a new Shopify and you don't want to do it alone, honestly, the best investment and the best membership I've been part of.

My name is Karen and I am the person behind tealeafreader.com and I've got the multi million dollar converter kit and I have to say it is the best bang for buck that you could possibly get for your site. My old site compared to the new site is unbelievable. From 0 to 100 in a bit more than 60 seconds. But I can't recommend this kit high enough so you'd be a fool not to grab it while you can.

Video transcript: Hey, ecommerce circle team. Just wanted to give you some feedback on the shopify live streams. So the thing I really love about them is really just the watching business owners have those aha moments, you know, Paul and Chris and the other Chris when he's there, just they're really not afraid to ask the hard questions of a business, but in a really respectful kind of way that kind of gets the business owner thinking and just sort of watching them go through their audits of their website and their discussion about their business. It's just a really great session to learn the ways that I do things, that I could do things differently, see the way that other people are doing things that might apply to my business. And just really, it just gives me life, kind of seeing people come away with those sort of aha moments of, you know, this is something. I just haven't thought of it that way before. You know, it's. What's. What's so great about the whole ecommerce circle is just being with people that challenge you in the way that you think or just give you a different perspective. That's what I love about the live as well.

Morag Curry
Owner of My Favourite Cousin
Video transcript: Morning to the tech team. I just wanted to jump on to say thank you for all of the insightful little notes and instructions that you're giving every Wednesday. I have jumped on there quite a few times now, week after week, and I've definitely got a better understanding of the website, what I should be doing, what I shouldn't be doing, coming from our background, that my business is a small, handmade business where I sew and I'm very good at doing that and I'm very good at selling my product in person. But trying to get the website and all the tech stuff behind it is just not my 40. So I have invested in the conversion rate, the blueprint conversion rate sheets, which there's 54 points, but they're all broken down, so it'd be quite easy to go through and see what I'm not doing right. I know at some point I'm going to hand the whole lot over to one of you guys to just do it for me. Because while I'm banging my head against the table trying to do some of this stuff, I'm not sewing and that gives me no joy. So I am going to probably hand over that all, but at least that I know when I'm doing it and what I'm listening. One, I'm not the only person in Australia that is struggling with this. In the background of the web stuff, when we've all got our own business and we're either baking or cooking or sewing or selling, we're not tech experts. And it's quite nice to know that there's other people who are much bigger than I am, but they haven't got their ducks all aligned either. So it's quite nice from a confidence point of view, to think that I'm not the only little person that's struggling with this. It's always quite hard to be critiqued about anything, but I think being critiqued about your own stuff is maybe easier to fix. Being critiqued about stuff that you actually don't really know because you don't really know what you're supposed to be doing. So I do jump on it most Wednesdays. I'm finding it extremely useful and just wanted to say thanks heaps, guys. And once I've got all of my ducks in a line, I am going to be handing over quite a lot of it to you. Be saying, just do it for me. But at least I know the background of what I'm doing and I am taking notes as to what I actually want on my website, what I need in my website so that when it is converted that I also know why things are being done the way that they are being done. Anyway, thanks heaps guys. And another tip, get yourself in front of the video and hence I'm sending you this in video form and not in an email. Thanks heaps.
